Chitta Mallik

Chitta Mallik is the Senior Vice President of Football Operations at Vanguard Sports where he helps oversee and run the Football Division. Mallik is an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor and is responsible for all aspects of athlete representation, including the recruitment of prospective players and negotiation of their NFL team contracts. Prior to coming to Vanguard, Mallik was the Principal and Co-Founder of Dream Point Sports where he and Tony Paige represented multiple 1st round picks and several Pro Bowl players. In June 2015, Mallik and Tony Paige negotiated a landmark $118 Million extension for Panthers quarterback Cam Newton where Newton’s 3-year payout of $67.6 Million was the largest in NFL history.

Additionally, Mallik works closely with our marketing team to draft and negotiate endorsement deals, appearance contracts, licensing agreements and a variety of other lucrative deals to help clients generate revenue and raise their profiles. Mallik has practiced corporate law for more than 20 years. His legal training is invaluable in helping to manage and resolve various types of client issues ranging from family law to criminal law. The combination of his legal expertise and his marketing eye is invaluable for meeting the needs of clients.

Prior to founding Dream Point Sports with Tony Paige, Mallik was the Senior Vice President of Perennial Sports where he helped run the Football Division. Before Perennial, he worked for Octagon where he drafted and negotiated endorsement deals, broadcasting agreements and book deals for athletes such as Emmitt Smith, John Elway, Chris Paul, and Michael Phelps. He also practiced corporate law for several years at the law firm of Latham & Watkins in Washington, DC. At Latham, he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, public company representation and joint venture deals. Mallik’s dedication to client service, his reputation as an expert negotiator and his ability to innovate sets him apart from the pack.

Mallik received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland at College Park.
